Individually designed for each student an intense and stimulating program stresses the development of technique and musicianship through the study of solo and ensemble repertoire. Students will perform a broad range of music from Classical to Contemporary (Rock, Jazz, Latin, Fusion) and Novelty including “Stomp-like” Percussion Ensemble music (basketballs, brooms, junk instruments etc). We ensure that each student receives full attention and equal opportunities to perform.

Every student has opportunity:

  • To perform for the Festivals, TV shows, Concerts and Community events around Melbourne (our students took part in series of Australia Day Concerts on Federation Square, Concerts for the 2009 World Parliament of Religions and 2010 United Nations Conference and many others)
  • To participate in Australian Percussion Eisteddfods and other competitions
  • To prepare for the Music Scholarship exams in Private Schools as well as AMEB exams
  • To prepare for the VCE Percussion exams solo and group performance

Music Theory is very important part of curriculum.

Each lesson will include Music Theory based on requirements of the AMEB grading system. Students are required taking part of AMEB Music Theory Exams at the end of each year.
